CHAOS THEORY OVERVIEW (CLINT THOMAS AND AARON DAVIS)
Chaos Theory is a motivational, decision-making process designed to empower students to understand how to live the lives they were made for. Chaos Theory is committed to providing students with the tools they need to make wise decisions to avoid high risk behaviors and to achieve their dreams. Therefore, unlike most empowerment programs, Chaos Theory does not tell students what to think but teaches them how to think.
Aaron Davis -- Bullying
Aaron Davis speaks from experience about the negative emotional, psychological, and physical impacts of bullying. As a former Sergeant Detective and SWAT Team Member injured in the line of duty, Aaron relates real stories about what happens to bullies and to those who are bullied. Students are immediately drawn in and connect to Aaron as he challenges them to take a stand for change in their lives and in their school. Students are empowered to fight with and for each other, rather than against each other.
Clint Thomas-- Sex / Abstinence
Clint Thomas has seen the negative impacts of high risk sexual behaviors in our young people firsthand and is passionate about giving students the truth so that they can choose the right path in life. As a former guitarist for a touring music artist and through other encounters in the world, Clint knows that the exotic, sex-charged and seemingly carefree lives that the entertainment industry tries to convey as fulfilling and exciting are truly far from it. His honest approach to the topic of abstinence is eye opening, not only to the students but to the parents/teachers as well. Students will walk away with the understanding that there is no such thing as a decision made in the moment, but rather the decisions you make will have a life-long affect.
The desire of both Clint and Aaron is to get students to think for themselves. The truth is out there for students to make wise decisions if they’ll rely on the facts and not allow themselves to be gullible and naive. In a nutshell, Chaos Theory empowers students to think about the choices they make. The impact is immeasurable.
BARLOW GIRL - www.barlowgirl.com
BarlowGirl has always represented an interesting dichotomy; tender-hearted, beautiful young women who aren’t afraid to take an aggressive, almost warrior-like stance when it comes to spreading the gospel and serving God. That fiery obedience reverberates throughout their latest release, Love & War.
“There’s just an urgency to this album,” says Alyssa Barlow. “We’ve always wanted to raise the banner and to really let people know who God is, what He’s doing and how He’s moving. It’s always been something on our hearts, but with this album there was this underlying current of ‘the time is now!’ The time is now to rise up and to get what God has for us. The time is now to rise up and learn what it means to be loved by God, to learn what it means to be set apart, to learn what it means to embrace our destiny and embrace our calling to the extreme. That is the thread running through all of these songs.” (READ MORE)
PAM STENZEL - www.pamstenzel.com
Seven years ago Pam Stenzel grew weary of hearing the phrase, NOBODY TOLD ME!! After years of counseling young girls who found themselves in crisis pregnancies, Pam began to realize that so many were completely unaware of the risks involved with sexual activity, and that many had never been told about all the consequences of their choices. That was the inception of Pam's life as a speaker, but Pam Stenzel's story started years earlier.
In 1964 a fifteen-year-old girl was raped, became pregnant, and decided to carry her unborn child to term. Five months after the baby girl was born, in an act of courage and love the young mother provided her child a better environment by giving her to an adoptive family. That child was Pam Stenzel. She is the oldest of 8 children… 7 adopted…1 biological, and her extended family includes 38 adopted children in all. (READ MORE)
DR MICAH PARKER - www.trustguyministries.com
How he got started:
"God blessed me with an unexpected and incredible adversity that helped shape my original message. My personal testimony is about how to truly trust Jesus Christ with your entire life, regardless of the circumstances. After taping a chapel service I did at Concordia University NE about my experience, I mailed the tape to friends and family who were praying for me. Those tapes were taken to church or given to friends who were also dealing with an adversity. People heard the tape and asked me to come tell more of the story. When people would ask me to come back and speak, I'd respond with, "You heard my story; that's all I've got." As a result, I developed many more talks. That was 15 years ago. Since then, I've been blessed to speak in 27 different states to over 500 groups, ranging from ONE to over 28,000 at a time. I've spoken in huge arenas, for Christian companies, at countless churches and schools, in a cow pasture, and in prison; each has been a blessing!" (READ MORE)
